is Obesity a Disease?
The obesity is defined as pathological state that is characterized by an excess or excessive and general accumulation of fat in the body.

In Chile the national health survey revealed that 39,8% of the population is overweight, 31,2% obesity and 3,2% morbid obesity, while only the 24,5% they are at the normal weight. these figure make it clear how badly the Chileans are feed.

I consider that obesity is a disease, since it brings many problems to health. The body is not prepared for an exaggerated overload, so the spine and joints are the first to suffer the consequences. Problems such as insulin resistance, dyslipidemias and others appear with this disease.

The obesity can cause a person to suffer from a heart attack, which can lead to death. This disease is not easy to treat, since it is very difficult for a person to change their eating habits, However with perseverance you can achieve.

In conclusion, obesity is a disease, since it brings with it many health problems, causing other diseases to appear, However I think it is possible to treat it changed eating habits and doing physical activity.

Well guys, that's all for today, remember that what I said earlier is just my point of view. Do not forget to leave your comment (I will be reading) and we are seeing in the next blog, to discuss a new interesting topic.
